The Sea~Beyond Foundation is a 501(C)3 non-profit that strives to protect local beaches, rivers, and waterways located within the Grand Strand community. The core of our work lies in the dedication of our volunteers fulfilling the Sea~Beyond mission.

This year’s soup was Tom Kai Gai, a spicy Thai soup of chicken, mushrooms, coconut milk, Tom Yum, and red curry paste. So many attendees complimented the taste and heat, and even came back for seconds! Check out our fancy soup pot on display next weekend at the 12th annual Oyster Roast and Bloody Mary Contest.

We had a great experience volunteering at the Murrells Inlet 33rd Annual Spring Tide Community Clean-Up & Chowder Cook-Off. It was a great turnout and together, the community collected a total of 10,834 pounds ( 5.42 tons ) of trash!! Wow!! The inlet thanks you!

It was great to see our friends from the South Carolina Aquarium and Keep Horry County Beautiful.

The Sea Beyond Foundation is proud to once again be the benefitting organization of the 22nd annual Lip Rippin’ Chili Cook-off. It takes a village to put on this event, so we are looking for volunteers for the Chili Cook-off next month, especially for time slots: 2 pm- 5pm and tear down from 5-7pm.
