Murrells Inlet SC March 1, 2026
❤️ Thank you to everyone who made it possible! ❤️
The 12th Annual Oyster Roast and Bloody Mary Festival at Wicked Tuna Restaurant raised more than $25,000 in support of the Sea Beyond Foundation. Organized by Inlet Leisure Events, the annual gathering brought together community members, local businesses, and environmental advocates for a lively day of food, entertainment, and philanthropy.
The continued success of the Oyster Roast and Bloody Mary Festival highlights the growing community commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable coastal practices. Because of you, we’re able to promote our "Balloons Blow" project across the entire State of South Carolina to raise public awareness about the environmental dangers associated with intentional balloon releases and the deadly litter they leave behind. Intentional balloon releases pose a serious threat to marine life, wildlife, and our ecosystems. Together, we can help advance House Bill H.3047, which would classify balloon debris as litter—making these releases illegal.
For more detailed information on the current South Carolina legislation, (House Bill H.3047) Please visit https://www.scstatehouse.gov/sess126_2025-2026/prever/3047_20241205.htm
